The business visa, also known as a commercial visa, enables foreigners to enter Vietnam and work with a company or organization acting as their sponsor. Among these, the DN1 visa is a widely used category granted to foreigners working or conducting business activities in Vietnam.
What is DN1 Business Visa?
Vietnam DN1 visa, also called the business or commercial visa, denoted as DN1, is issued to foreign nationals entering Vietnam for employment or business purposes, sponsored by a legal entity in accordance with Vietnamese law (Article 8, Article 8 of Law No. 51/2019/QH14).
The DN1 visa has a maximum validity of 12 months, meaning foreigners can be granted a DN1 visa with the following durations:
- DN1 Visa for 1-3 months, single entry.
- DN1 Visa for less than 3 months, multiple entries.
- DN1 Visa for 6 months, multiple entries.
