Before the Covid era, Micronesia citizens had up to 02 ways to acquire a tourist visa, including obtaining it at the Vietnam embassy/consulate or securing a Vietnam visa online, including Vietnam e-visa and visa on arrival. Presently, holders of popular Micronesia passports can only obtain a 30-day single-entry tourist visa, known as Vietnam e-visa or electronic visa. This e-visa must be obtained before departing for Vietnam and can be applied for online by the applicants themselves or through our service in 3 simple steps.

  1. How to get a Vietnam business visa for Micronesia citizens:

To apply for a business visa, Micronesia citizens are REQUIRED to have a sponsor company in Vietnam. There are 02 steps that Micronesia citizens and their employers in Vietnam need to follow to get a business visa to Vietnam:

  • Step 1: Obtain a visa approval letter. In this step, the sponsor company will need to prepare various documents, including Form NA2 completed online, Form NA16, and a certified business registration. Afterward, the sponsor company will submit these documents to the Vietnam Immigration Department, which will process the application within 7 – 10 working days. If approved, the sponsor company will receive a business visa approval letter allowing the applicant to obtain a business visa for Vietnam.
  • Step 2: Get a business visa stamp. In this step, the applicant will get a business visa stamped on their passport at the Vietnam embassy/consulate in their country before departing for Vietnam.
